Ever wanted to perform in a dance team? Here is your chance to be part of Mambo Bravo’s Student Dance Team! We are now preparing our dance company to perform during this winter in a variety of events. What team members will learn? • Mambo/Salsa Choreography filled with a variety of fancy turn patterns and shines. • How to become confident while dancing socially or on-stage • How to better remember turn patters and memorize choreography • Techniques on how to be a better leader and better follower • Men and Ladies Styling techniques that will compliment your dancing • On and off-stage techniques on becoming a professional dancer What does it take to be part of the team? • Time and dedication • Commitment to scheduled rehearsals • Determination • A positive attitude • A sense of humor!!! Requirements: • At least 6 months of On2 Mambo training or permission from instructor • No age limit, anyone can join • No performance experience required • Current students or new students are welcomed • Student Team Membership monthly fee. • Members of the student team must continue to attend the minimum of 1 regular scheduled class in addition to student team rehearsals Student Team Membership Fees: Monthly Membership Fee: $60.00 monthly fee, due the first week of every month. (Student Team Membership Fees covers only rehearsals, regular classes in our schedule, must be paid separately.) Half price admission to Mambo Bravo Socials. Expert training from performance professionals 1.5 hours of weekly dance team practice, and additional practices added as needed. (Mambo Bravo Student Dance Team Workshop fees are non-refundable.) Dancer is responsible for: • Attending the minimum of 4 regular Salsa/Mambo classes every month. • Attending the minimum of 4 rehearsals held during the month. • Dancers must be punctual to all rehearsals • Dancer is responsible for purchasing their own performance costume (we will make our best efforts to use affordable costumes.)
